Carol J.W. Kurth, FAIA, will present “Seeing through the Lens of Design,” at the Katonah Museum of Art as part of the museum’s “Creative Mind Series” on Thursday, October 4th, 2012, at 7:30pm. Sponsored by the Katonah Museum Artist’s Association (KMAA), the “Creative Mind Series” expands the public’s vision of “who is an artist” and “what does that mean.” Ms. Kurth, the Bedford-based architect and interior designer, is renowned for designing distinctive architecture that layers modernism with traditional elements. Her award-winning body of residential and commercial work is notable for its elegant and imaginative integration of site, form, structure, and materials. Her presentation will examine the multi-disciplinary facets of her design process and practice.

Admission is free to KMAA and Museum members and $5.00 for non members.
