Casa Encantada is a gorgeous new construction residence that responds to its bucolic neighborhood surroundings. While large in program, the highly detailed brick and limestone home was designed to scale to the neighboring houses while masking the vast private wings set behind the more modest entry façade. Programmatically, the home is organized around the exterior courtyard with separate public entertaining and private family wings, both of which overlook the gracious swimming pool and outdoor rooms. A dramatic entry-foyer staircase connects the many levels of the home and creates a focus from multiple locations, adding a sense of arrival and drama.
