Pond Lily Pool + Pool House fuse the architecture and design ethos of the primary residence on the site which was designed by Carol Kurth Architecture + Interiors. A reflection of the main structure, these ancillary buildings are also strategically sited on the private lakefront property in upstate New York where celebrated water views are synonymous with the visual perspective. Designed for an indoor/outdoor connectivity along with a relationship to the lake terrain, there is an axial visual approach that descends from the main home at a higher elevation as one transitions down to the pool + pool house which sits at the foot of the lake, taking into view the shoreline and the architectural relationship between nature and the built environment. The pool house is a modern barn-like structure, infused with a playful yet refined aesthetic serving as the backdrop for long family weekends.
