Located steps away from Lincoln Center, the award-winning Skyscape37 apartment offers panoramic views of Central Park and Midtown. The home, which began as an assemblage of three apartment units, was transformed into one flowing, light-filled interior space layered with modern objects and furnishings. The open-plan living room was divided into three distinct living spaces to create a more intimate backdrop for entertaining and everyday living. Dramatic lighting solutions, including a custom crystal chandelier and hand-blown glass, serve as functional architectural elements while providing a hint of the clients’ mid-century modern aesthetic. Other accents include the multipiece coffee table, sectional sofa, serpentine benches, and spherical art-pieces, which playfully reconfigure to continue the “puzzle piece” design concept.
