Designed to appear as if emerging out of the bedrock, Treetop Lodge is uniquely sited atop rocky, vertiginous terrain in a natural woodland setting. From site inception and site planning to landscape design, the firm conceived the project from raw land to reality designing all of the architecture and interiors. The exterior of the home is a harmonious composition of native stone, reclaimed timbers, and siding with an exterior stain color inspired by tree bark. Spectacular stone walls bring natural elements indoors where the spaces are defined by vaulted ceilings featuring hewn trusswork and rustic modern details. The main living space focuses on an oversized hearth while gracious patio doors provide access to the indoor/outdoor skylit veranda and screened porch, for dining amidst the treetops.
